Getting a clean video-to-GIF conversion

Trim to just the section you need, keep the width around 480–640px, and use 10–15 FPS for normal motion or 20+ for fast action. These three settings control size and quality far more than anything else.

Frequently asked questions

Which video formats can I convert?
MP4, WebM and MOV are supported directly. If your file is in another format, converting it to MP4 first usually works.
Can I convert just part of a video?
Yes — set a start and end time before converting so only that section becomes the GIF.
Why is my converted GIF blurry or blocky?
GIF uses a limited color palette, so highly detailed or fast-moving footage can look rougher than the source video. Lowering the width slightly or raising FPS for fast motion often helps.
